Privacy Policy

Retainly ("we", "us") provides subscription retention tools — failed-payment recovery, win-back and analytics — to merchants who use Pricing Plans on their sites. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how we protect it.

Information we access

When a merchant installs Retainly, and with the permissions they approve, we access:

• Subscription & order data — plan, price, status, billing cycle and payment status of Pricing Plans orders, so we can show analytics and detect failed renewals.
• Customer contact details — a subscriber's name and email address, used only to send recovery and win-back emails on the merchant's behalf.
• Site information — the site's display name and basic settings, used to personalize the dashboard and emails.

We do not access or store payment card numbers, passwords, or any payment credentials.

How we use it

• Show the merchant a dashboard with recurring revenue, churn, active and at-risk subscribers.
• Detect failed renewals and email the affected customer to update their payment method.
• Invite cancelled customers to return (win-back), and power the self-service pause/cancel page.

We use the data only to provide these features. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Storage & security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on access-controlled servers. We do not store your site's access tokens — they are generated on demand for each request and kept only briefly in memory. We retain subscription and customer data only while the app is installed.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, our email delivery provider for sending recovery emails), and only to the extent needed to provide the service. We may disclose data if required by law.

Data deletion

When a merchant uninstalls Retainly, we stop processing their data and delete stored subscription and customer records associated with their installation. To request deletion sooner, contact us.

Merchants and their customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us at the address below.
