How to Track MRR and Churn for Your Wix Subscriptions

If you run a membership or subscription business on Wix, a list of orders tells you what happened — but not whether your business is actually growing. For that you need a few recurring-revenue metrics. The problem: Wix Pricing Plans doesn't surface them out of the box.

Here are the numbers that matter and how to keep an eye on them.

The metrics that actually matter

1. MRR — Monthly Recurring Revenue The predictable revenue your active subscriptions generate each month. Normalize everything to monthly: an annual plan at $120 contributes $10 of MRR. MRR is the single best gauge of subscription health — if it's rising, you're growing; if it's flat while you add members, something is leaking.

2. Churn rate The percentage of subscribers (or revenue) you lose in a period:

Churn rate = cancellations ÷ active subscribers at the start of the period

A 5% monthly churn means you'd lose your whole base in under two years without new members. Watching the trend matters more than any single month.

3. Active subscribers A simple count — but trend it over time, and separate truly active from paused.

4. Revenue at risk The MRR tied to subscriptions that are currently in trouble — failed renewals, cards about to expire, pending cancellations. This is the number that tells you where to act this week.

Why Wix alone isn't enough

Wix shows you individual orders and subscriptions, which is great for day-to-day admin. But it doesn't roll them up into MRR, churn, or revenue-at-risk — so most owners never see the trends that actually predict growth or trouble. You're left exporting data to a spreadsheet and doing the math by hand.

You have three options:
